The glory of Christmas!

Today my family and I went to the home of some less fortunate kids and gave them a Christmas they would have never been able to have. We took pictures I just don't feel it is appropriate to post. It was twin boys almost 3 and a 6 year old girl, they were cousins and the grandmother was raising them with no support from any of the parents. I asked myself, "How can this be?", I could never imagine not being with my kids much less voluntarily. My girls were excited yet apprehensive on what to expect as the neighbor was in Stop 6, down town Fort Worth. Not the neighbor hood they are use to seeing, then I look over to realize my husband is wearing his cowboy hat, "Oh no, we really stand out!", we had a good laugh about that. Anyway, my girls were really blessed as Corey and I were also. You should do this one year if you are able, it will bless your socks off.

Rylie's Baptism

As a mommy you think the most amazing day of your life is when you give birth to your child, I am here to say nothing is more amazing than your child accepting Christ Jesus as her personal Lord and Saviour. This day of her profession of faith brought so many emotions I can not begin to explain, even more was the night she asked me to pray with her to accept Jesus in to her heart, I held my nine year old as she weep her heart out in joy that she had made this commitment and knew for a fact she would live eternally in heaven at the right foot of God. She is a special child and I know my Lord has hugh plans for her.

Keith Holt, Rylie's sunday school teacher had the pleasure of baptising her and believe me, she would have had it no other way. Nor would have he.

Rylie surrendered her life on August 24, 2008 and was baptized on Sept. 21,2008
